Terrapin and Starr Hill GAVA Joe Collab at GBD

Join us as we celebrate the DC debut of Terrapin and Starr Hill’s GAVA Joe, a medium-bodied 6.9% stout fermented with Belgian yeast and brewed with rye as well as a collaborative espresso from two coffee roasters local to each brewery: Shenandoah Joe Coffee Roasters of Charlottesville, VA, and Jittery Joe’s Coffee of Athens, GA. 

 

Each brewery’s team will be in the house, and we’ll be offering the perfect pairing for GAVA Joe: our very own hot vanilla-glazed brioche doughnut! And The GAVA Joe & hot vanilla-glazed doughnut pairing will be available for $7 all night long!

 

Year-round offerings and one-off brews will also be on tap this evening from both breweries. From Terrapin, we will have Moonray Dunkles Weizenbock brewed with cocoa nibs & orange peel, Pineapple Express Smoked Lager with smoked malt and pineapple puree, and Tangerine Dreamsicle IPA–Terrapin’s recent collaboration with Green Flash–brewed with lactose and tangerine peel.
