DCBW EduEvent: Policy Hosts “How Government Affects Your Beer”

Beer is a highly regulated substance and, as a result, often becomes a political football.  Some of the best minds in beer will be gathering at Policy to talk about how government affects beer and how the beer industry can advocate for its causes.  Participants will include:

• Thor Cheston, Right Proper Brewery (@RightProperBeer) co-founder and DC Brewers Guild member
• J.T. Smith, Brewers Association of Maryland Executive Director
• Christina Henderson, Deputy Chief of Staff to DC City Councilmember David Grosso, and co-author of DC’s recently passed Pint Law
• Moderated by Mick Nardelli, The Craft Beer Lobbyist
