From an email: Join us on Wednesday, March 4th as we invite Schlafly to take over our taps. On this night, Scion Restaurant (Dupont Circle) will be pouring 12 different beers from the Saint Louis Brewery.
This event will serve as the DC release of this year’s American IPA. This special release beer is a showcase of American hops, brewed exclusively with Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial.
Scion will also feature some of Schlafly’s rarest beers, such as Imperial Topaz, Oak Aged Barleywine, and Grand Cru. The ultra rare Imperial Topaz, brewed for Schlafly’s 23rd anniversary, is an Imperial IPA brewed exclusively with Topaz hops.
All Schlafly beers will be specially priced at $4 for the duration of the event. A representative from the brewery will be in attendance. Reservations are not required for the event.
