School is in session! Scion Restaurant (Dupont Circle) and DCBeer.com invite you to a informative discussion about all things hoppy at New Belgium Hop School.
On Tuesday, November 11th, Scion will host a private tasting guided by a New Belgium brewer and the editors of DCBeer.com. Our special guests will cover both the science and business of the hop trade, as well as the differences between New World, European, and British hop profiles.
Additionally, Scion will feature 9 different variations of Ranger IPA, each infused with a different hop. Each variation will showcase the unique differences between hop varietals.
Scion will also feature 8 different beers from New Belgium, including the only keg of Colorado Fresh Hop on the East Coast! Other highlights include La Folie, Gratzer (3 Floyds Collaboration), and Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout (Perennial Collaboration).
