Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s six breweries, one in Los Alamos, and one in Moriarty also joining the party. Stoutmeister puts on his serious face to handle The Week Ahead in Beer. Most weeks I lead this feature with an event or series of events. This week/weekend is a fairly quiet one, however, considering everyone is still recovering from New Year’s Eve and Christmas before that. So instead I figured why not lead off with the beers instead? There are several brand-new beers popping up around the ABQ metro area. What says new year quite like new beer? Nothing else that I can think of, so let us peruse the first timers. Bosque is wrapping up its Open Space Haze series with 120 West, which is basically a hazy Scale Tipper (same hop bill).
