Honestly, I didn’t want to try this beer, let alone enjoy it: My ex’s named is Brett. But I couldn’t look like a wimp in front of my newly found beer lovers, so with a sinking heart I began my review. Upon my first whiff, I was excited because it smelled like crap. (Meaning: I wouldn’t enjoy it, therefore it would be Brie: 1, Brett: 0) The sharp, sweet scent raped my nostrils like a dead flower that shat. It was literally a smell I could go the rest of my life without experiencing again. Expecting to hate it, I gingerly took a small sip and was instantly reward with something the complete opposite of what I smelled seconds prior. The taste was still floral but in a comfortable non-Tank 7 sort of way. I rate beers based on how many more glasses I would drink… This one… I would drink 3–4 more glasses in one sitting. The moral of the story, my friends; Don’t judge a beer by it’s crap name. The post A Beer My Ex Would Love appeared first on KC Beer Scouts. … |
