American Craft Beer Week in KC for 2015

Nobody seemed ready for American Craft Beer week this time around. Very little was sent out, and it took some digging to find the fun events that make this week (usually) special. ACBW officially starts on Monday, May 11, so we’re starting there on our rundown.

Monday, May 11

75th Street Brewery: Red Eye Rye release. This beer is the winner of their previous homebrew competition. You can also sign up for their next homebrew competition. Details on the homebrew competition are on the 75th Street Brewery website.

Barley’s on 119th: Breckenridge Beer School, $15, tickets must be purchased in advance

Barley’s in Leawood: New Belgium La Folie tapping at 4:30 p.m.

Barley’s on Midland: Schlafly Dry-Hopped Farmhouse tapping

Beer Kitchen: Sierra Nevada Spiegelau IPA glass night

Cinder Block Brewing: Pints of year-round beers are $3 and growler refills of year-round beer are $10
