Drumroll please … Presenting the Best in Kansas City Beer – Golden Tappys for 2016Best Local BeerThis category was a two-horse race from the beginning, with two fabulous beers from Double Shift Brewing running neck-and-neck. In the end, the spiced Belgian-style dubbel, Literally Can’t Even, pulled ahead and takes home the Tappy. We were there for the Literally Can’t Even launch, leading guided tasting through a flight of Double Shift beers. LCE is, you know, a Twitter storm of a beer to our favorite PSL-from-Bux-guzzling stereotypes.
