“Beer Nerd” Trivia and Bottle Share

So you think you know beer?

Beer Nerd: A Beer-Tasting Trivia Game will test your knowledge in a fun, low-key way. Multiple choice questions range from simple (“From which country did IPAs originate?”) to obscure (“What is the origin of the name ‘shaker pint’?”) and banal (“Which beer was featured in the movie Smokey and the Bandit?”), plus blind tasting tests to identify one of three beers of the same style. We’ll play in teams to increase participation and mitigate potential embarrassment!

Please bring beer to share and enjoy as we play (two 12-ounce bottles/cans or one large format–or more, if you wish). Optional: bring munchies to share.

Cost: $5, to cover the beers for the blind tasting tests during the game.

Spots are limited to 18 people (5 teams of 3). As always with limited space events, please only RSVP if you are committed to attending, and change your RSVP if your plans change.
