Bentspoke fills taps for Canberra Beer Week

BENTSPOKE BREWING CO. FILLS TAPS JUST IN TIME FOR CANBERRA BEER WEEK

Despite the best efforts of many craft beer aficionados, BentSpoke Brewing Co. will tomorrow fill the last of its enormous 18-tap bar with a brew that celebrates not only the brewery’s five-month anniversary, but also the start of Canberra Beer Week.

“There’s no doubt the good folk of Canberra have been keeping me busy!” said Richard Watkins, twice crowned Best Australian Small Brewer and BentSpoke’s owner and head brewer.

“We’ve been brewing around the clock to keep up with demand and it’s probably taken us a little longer than anticipated to fill all 18 of our taps.”

BentSpoke made headlines around the country in it’s opening week after nearly being drunk dry by people keen to try Watkin’s renowned brews.

The microbrewery produces all of its own tap beers and ciders on premises in Braddon and features one of the longest
