Boulevard’s Brettacular Saison!

This was one beer that opened my eyes to wild fermentation many moons ago. Since my introduction to this farmhouse, (more like farmmansion) I have pursued different saisons and wildly fermented beers pretty enthusiastically. This is an ale that I try to taste every single year it is produced, yet rarely have the patience to cellar or wait even a week to try. After all, I am a firm believer that breweries release their beer when they are ready to drink. Boulevard taught me that, but nonetheless when their Saison-Brett hit the shelves, it was one of the first times I can recall that the brewery actually told the public to cellar the beer. Isn’t that your job as the manufacturer? Don’t be taking up my cellar space with a premature beer, know what I’m saying? All squabbling aside, this brew is easily on my top-ten list.
