The Baton Rouge Zoo is hosting the first annual Brew at the Zoo tomorrow from 6 til 10pm. Unfortunately, tickets have sold out, and there won’t be any available at the gate. So, hopefully you were able to get some and will be there for this great event. Check out the website for a list of the commercial beers and food that will be available. The good news is that this is a homebrew friendly festival, so I was able to fire up a batch to serve alongside 31 other members of my homebrew club, Brasseurs a la Maison. I brewed a pumpkin porter (it is October, after all), so be sure to stop by the Brasseurs canoe and get a taste of Running Monk Brewing Company’s I Got A Rock, which should be on tap number 2.
