There are a number of events next week celebrating the history and culture of brewing, featuring Liz Garibay, founder and Executive Director of the Chicago Brewseum. DCBeer is thrilled to welcome her to our town! Beer CultureThe Popular Culture Association comes to Washington, D.C. for their National Conference next week. Garibay will be presenting along with many regionally and nationally significant beer historians (including yours truly), on the topic of “Beer Culture“. History with the Chicago Brewseum and Heurich House On Thursday, April 18, the Chicago Brewseum joins the Heurich House Museum to host an esteemed panel, “Brewing in the City: A Look at DC and Chicago 19th Century Brewing History”, to discuss how breweries shape the cities their cities.
