The KC Beer Scouts are very proud to announce our first public meeting this Saturday, October 22 at Double Shift Brewing. Come out and join us! TWO New Beers from Double Shift BrewingThe folks over at Double Shift Brewing in the Crossroads Arts District will release two beers this Saturday and we were asked to become a part of it. First, about the beers: Literally Can’t Even is a Belgian-style quad with graham crackers and spices brewed in. Hocus Bro’cus is an amber, malty lager. Both scream autumn. We are very excited to try them out. And we want you to join us! Beer Scout jimmywags (that’s me) will be leading two guided beer tastings at Double Shift, one at 2:00 and one at 6:00. When you arrive, you’ll receive a flight of four beers, including Literally Can’t Even and Hocus Bro’cus, and your own copy of the official KC Beer Scouts tasting journal, Field Notes.
