In just a few days, many of us in the industry will be gathering at the Oregon Convention Center to participate in the Craft Brewer’s Conference. With over 80 seminars, 15 sponsored demonstrations, and over 600 exhibitors this year, we all certainly have our work cut out for us. One of the things I am most excited about and one topic I know I’ll be covering, exporting American craft beer! There are over 10,000 craft beer professionals coming together, from all over the world, and I can’t wait to meet some of them and talk to them. Many of the women I know that are coming in from overseas are Pink Boots Society members. There’s Ingeborn “Inga” Lindheim, who’s coming in from Norway, Alexandra “Alex” Iunes from Cerverjeria Backer from Brazil, Betha Lovato & Alex Violette (former Upslope‘rs, now in Vietnam), and that’s barely scratching the surface!
