Craft Brewers Conference Collabs, DC Brau and Right Proper Edition

DC Brau is turning six years old during this year’s Craft Brewers Conference. Last year they threw a party and released one of the cooler six-packs out there. This year they’re keeping the music, via a Baroness concert at the 930 Club on Wednesday, April 12th, but switching it up with the beer.

Six years, six collaboration beers. First, the cans. From a press release:

Yonder Cities – Brewed with Union Craft Brewing (Baltimore, MD)

This Belgian Farmhouse IPA exclusively uses Citra and Simcoe Hops. [ed note: this beer was brewered a few years ago, too, and was excellent.]

Conflict of Interest – Brewed with Melvin Brewing (Alpine, WY)

The 7.5% ABV Imperial Pilsner is brewed with traditional German hops with an emphasis on aroma contributed by German Saphir hops.

Next up, the draft offerings. Again, from the press release:

American Pale Ale – Brewed with Hop Head Farms & Firestone Walker (MI and CA)

This yet-to-be-named beer is a straight-forward American Pale Ale showcasing domestic hop
