Dozer Was a Doozy at Martin City Brewing

He attended the Dozer Unleashed event at Martin City Brewing Company last Thursday and was kind enough to write up a little something on the gathering and the barrel-aged imperial coconut porter. As a long term resident of South Kansas City and craft beer enthusiast, the arrival of Martin City Brewing Company has been a personal boon. Long have I wished for a brew pub right in my backyard and getting something of the sort this far south on this side of State Line is way overdue. But I’m not the only one excited that this train has pulled into station. People are gravitating to MCBC’s microbrewed beer, stone oven pizza, and family-friendly atmosphere. The unique scene consists of three contiguous buildings lining the north side of 135th Street, apparently berthed out of necessity and regulatory delay: the original pub, Pizza & Tap, and the brewery itself which doubles
