Flying Dog’s 0.10K, Sprint for Spat, Returns May 1

Running, like everything else in this godforsaken new millennium, is a way that you can subtly one-up co-workers, friends, spouses, and strangers you meet at house parties whose names you don’t care to catch. Frederick’s Flying Dog Brewery, however, wants to add another dimension to the act of the race: providing another excuse for day drinking that doesn’t involve brunch. On May 1, join them at Fell’s Point Square in Baltimore (take the MARC, it’s easy) for Sprint for Spat. This “race” is a 0.10K, or 100 meters, which means that even those of you who haven’t laced up running shoes since your high school’s infamous “cardio days” can probably manage it. Probably.
