Into the Black by the Bank Brewing Company

India pale ales (IPAs) are the favorite beer style for many craft beer fans. There are many different sub-types within the style including British IPA, American IPA, session IPA , black IPA and others (click here for a quick review of the many IPA choices). This post will review the newest release from the Bank Brewing Company, Into the Black, which is a black IPA. Bank is located in Hendricks, MN in the former creamery building. Their beers are available in Minnesota and South Dakota. A taproom is located in the old bank building just down the street from the brewery. The brewery owner is Jason Markkula and the brewer is Richard Drawdy.
