KC Beer Awards: Seeking Nominations – Best Local Beer

The Kansas City craft beer scene is booming. More great beer bars. More breweries. More beer. It’s a great time to be a beer lover in this town.

We decided that it is something both to celebrate and to recognize. So, like many other publications before us, we are announcing our first KC Beer Awards! (Snappy name ending in –ies coming soon.)

We’re having just a few simple categories to start. And we’re limiting the nominees to local breweries, bars, and shops. And we’ll be the sole decision makers on what is “local”. But I’ll say Lawrence is in. Springfield is not. The border is somewhere in between.

Here’s how we’ll do this:
