Knox Beer Snobs | 5 Years and a Lot of Beer

Howdy fellow snobs,

It’s hard to believe that November marked 5 years for Knox Beer Snobs. Check it out, here’s our maiden post and we actually called it, The Maiden Post. While the site initially began as a way for us to keep up with what Don and I had been drinking, it’s transformed into so much more than that. We’ve seen people come and go, we’ve seen businesses open, and close, we’ve seen a lot of new products enter our market and we’ve made a ton of friends. Wow, has East Tennessee – and Tennessee as a whole – changed since this blog began! When we started there were but a few places locally to find craft beer, the Bearden Beer Market being the primary one, and in comparison to what you’ll find on their shelves now, that menu was pretty limited. Not only do we have more options for watering holes but we have significantly more local breweries, a brewing science program at South College, plenty of beer related events to choose from, Knox Brew Tours who will take you and your friend
