Join Rustico Alexandria on Saturday, March 12th as we invite one of their favorite Virginia craft breweries, Lickinghole Creek! Fans of the Goochland, VA brewery won’t want to miss this date, as they tap the first, and only, NOVA keg of Enlightened Despot 2016!
Lickinghole Creek’s most sought after beer, Enlightened Despot 2016 is a Russian Imperial Stout aged 9 months in Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon barrels. Notes of chocolate and vanilla combine with hints of Bourbon in this amazingly rich and complex brew. Rarely available outside of the brewery, make sure to get there early, as this beer won’t last long!
Other highlights include Red Neck Wedding, a Quadrupel aged in Rum barrels; and Heir Apparent, a Mexican chocolate inspired Imperial Stout brewed with vanilla, cinnamon, cacao nibs and peppers.
There is no admission fee for this event and all Lickinghole Creek drafts will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. tasting pours.
