I hope your holiday break is nice and relaxing. You can tell spring is in the air by looking at the beverages we have today. Enjoy! Epic’s Oak and Orchard Syrah: Blueberry, Boysenberry and Black Currant – Haven’t had this yet, it comes out today. Look for big berry flavors backed by tart vinous fruits. Can’t wait! 8.5% ABV @ Epic Mountain West Cider’s Desolation Prickly Pear Hard Cider – The nose has fresh apple skins and nondescript flower petals. The taste has tart apple, some apple tannins along with a vague citrus snap. It finishes with some botanical bitterness. Alcohol is very well hidden. Slightly sweeter and more tart than Ruby. Another highly drinkable cider from Mountain West. 6.9% ABV @ Mountain West Hard Cider. This goes on sale 3/15/17 at 11am.
