Elysian Space Dust IPA – The nose has citrus and pine resin. The taste follows, with bright citrus, pine, and caramel malt following up toward the back end. The finish is bitter with a dry tea-like herbal snap. The alcohol is pretty well hidden. These are fresh, about ten days old. Seek them out now. 8.2% ABV @ DABC, Beer Bar Talisman Anniversary Ale Barrel Aged Imperial Saison ( Pinot Noir) – Not tried this one yet. Look for spicy/peppery yeast combined with vinous fruitiness. I hear good things, seek it out. 9.5% ABV @ Talisman Desert Edge Poptire Porter – Not had this yet. It’s described as a robust porter. No tricks, nothing fancy, just a good old fashioned easy drinking porter. Brewed with lots of chocolate malt for that roasty, dark chocolate flavor and just enough caramel malt to balance the roasted flavors for a smooth, sessionable porter. 4.0% ABV @ Desert Edge What did I miss?
