It was either going say “Make America Great Again” or New Beer Friday. I think I made the right call. I really need a Raiders of the Lost Ark night soon. Ska – Mexican Logger: The nose cracker-y malts with a hint of spicy hops. The flavor starts with sweet crackers with a hint of floral hops and a snap white of pepper. The mouthfeel is very light with springy carbonation. Overall this is a pretty refreshing lager, but it won’t blow your doors off. 5.2% ABV @ Bayou Park City – Porch Pounder: -The nose has spicy phenolic notes from the yeast. The taste is mostly toasted grain with some floral hops. The phenols from the nose are much more subdued in the mouth. A very light and refreshing witbeir. 4.0% ABV @ Park City, Beerhive, Beer Bar Baja – Por Favor Mexican IPA: I’m going to reserve judgment on this one because the bottle I had was already on the verge of being old.
