Like many people, I seem to have temporary Alzheimer’s when it comes to beer. When I say that, I mean to say there are great beers that I seem to forget about time to time. Not because I don’t like them, not because I want to avoid them, but simply because there’s so many freaking beers on the market that you find yourself forgetfully passing over some of your favorites. This is especially noticeable when it comes to seasonal releases. I simply can’t recall how many times I’ve asked about a seasonal beer that I look for every year to only to realize that I missed the release by two months. Fall into the Oktoberfest
Ayinger brews a mean Oktoberfest beer. I’m reminded of this phenomenon every fall when I see Oktoberfest style beers come back into the market. I love a good Oktoberfest. Love love love it.
