On Tap: The ‘Summer of Ghost’ is upon us and more Louisiana craft beer news Fans of Parish Brewing’s popular double IPA will want to mark this date on their calendars. The Broussard brewery’s Ghost in the Machine returns to market, starting June 14, beginning the so-called “Summer of Ghost.” The beer will then be available across the brewery’s distribution footprint. Ghost in the Machine gained a cult following among craft beer drinkers several years ago when customers used to drive from store to store to buy it, since quantities were very limited. Last summer, “chasing Ghost” proved to be a thing of the past as the brewery was able to produce more than enough to satisfy demand. The same should be the case this summer and into early fall.
