Parish & Gnarly Barley brewery releases this weekend

Hey there fellow ale runners. And runners. And ale drinkers. And even the lager drinkers.

Saturday (that’s tomorrow) marks the release of a couple new beers at a couple of south Louisiana breweries. Both have space themes. Both are IPAs. Both are awesome (well, I’m guessing they will be).

Parish Brewing is releasing Opus Vert, a single IPA brewed with Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic hops. This is a brewery-exclusive release, so if you want to try it, you better make the trip to Broussard. The tap room opens at 11am, and you can buy as many bottles as you’d like. It will also be on tap for growler and crowler fills. While you’re there, try out the Reve Coffee Stout, which might be the best coffee beer I’ve ever had. It’s brewed with coffee beans roasted by Lafayette’s own Reve Coffee Roasters. Seriously, it’s that good.
