Guess who’s having a birthday? You guessed it, the ladies in beer with the pink boots! First, I want to make sure you know WHAT Pink Boots Society is and what their mission is: The Pink Boots Society is an international professional association and USA 501(c)3 nonprofit. Their goals is to inspire, encourage and empower women beer professionals to advance their careers through education. It’s an exciting time of year for this organization as we gear up to celebrate our Lucky #7 Anniversary on Monday, June 16th! It was on that day, back in 2007, that our founder Teri Fahrendorf worked with Laura Ulrich at Stone Brewing; their conversation ignited the spark that fueled Teri’s journey in creating the Pink Boots Society. With a list of female brewers in hand, Teri took the first step. Since that day, PBS has had the pleasure of inspiring thousands of women in the brewing industry and we’re certainly not slowing down.
