From an email: Since opening in February of 2011, Port City has brewed a wide variety of outstanding and crowd pleasing brews. If you’ve spent any time at Meridian or Brookland Pint, you’ve seen Optimal Wit, their world-class Belgian Witbier and a 2013 GABF Gold Medal Winner!
Join us on March 12 at Brookland Pint as we launch Tartan Ale, a 5% malty seasonal offering brewed in the style of Scottish Ale!
We will be featuring this beer on draft and on cask with Scotch-soaked oak chips. The whiskey soaked oak chips mark a first for Port City!
In addition, we will feature a bounty of Port City drafts including two offerings from their Colossal series:
Colossal One – A 9.5% Imperial Stout fermented with Westmalle Trappist year
Colossal 4 – A rich and malty Belgian Quadrupel!
Plus:
Maniacal Double IPA
Ways and Means Session IPA
Optimal Wit
Essential Pale Ale
The Port City crew will be on hand to answer any of your beer-related questions and hand out glassware!
