Scouting What’s Ahead: More Beer Festivals! Clips, Omaha, Westport, Boulevardia

Whew. Did everyone survive American Craft Beer Week? I can’t say that we got thru unscathed. The traffic on KC Beer Scouts hit record highs throughout the week, eventually causing the site to go down Saturday night. Wow! I mean, that sucks. I apologize for the downtime. And I thank you all for using us as a go-to source of information for craft beer in Kansas City.

Even though ACBW is over for 2014, the beer festival season is still in full swing. There are five great events coming up over the next month.

Upcoming Beer Festivals In and Around Kansas City

Thursday, New Belgium’s Clips of Faith sets up at Theis Park, between the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and UMKC. The gates open at 7:00, and the films begin at sundown (7:31 sez NOAA). Entrance is free, there will be food for sale, and of course, lots of New Belgium beer for sale as well. Pets, kids, and outside food are welcome.
