Starr Hill | Reviver Red I.P.A. | Robbie O’Cain

My first experience with Starr Hill was several years ago. For those of you that remember the Pizza Kitchen on Northshore, I’ll never forget the Starr Hill sticker that was forever emblazoned on one of those smoker’s ash tray towers out front. I drank many a Starr Hill at the old PK before Starr Hill had to pull out of the market and tend to things back home.

A few weeks ago Starr Hill came back into this market with focused determination. After a week long tour they had hit many taps, shook many hands and passed out plenty of swag emblazoned with the big Star. Of their primary lineup there are two beers that, to this snob, stand out from their peers and I’d like to focus on one of those this evening. I was also fortunate enough to be able to discuss these beers with Brewmaster Robbie O’Cain while he was here in Knoxville – great guy, incredibly knowledgeable and extremely passionate about his team and what he’s doing.
