Summer Lab Internship

Monday Night Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is seeking QC lab interns for Summer 2015 to join our incredibly good-looking team. This is a part-time, paid internship, and class credit is offered where applicable. You will be reporting directly to the head brewer.

Qualifications:

• Degree (or enrolled) in biology, microbiology, chemistry or biochemistry
• Flexible availability, MINIMUM 24 hrs/week
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with diverse group
• Must be organized and able to efficiently multi-task and prioritize
• The ability to safely handle reagents and other potentially hazardous chemicals
• Must have a willingness and ability to step in wherever needed
• Must be physically able to move kegs
• Must be 21+

Responsibilities:

• Daily sterile sampling and microbiological analysis of beers in process
• Maintenance of packaged beer archive
• Maintain lab space in operational condition
• Packaging analysis as needed
