Tapping into the Goodwill of Michigan’s Craft Beer Community

Detroit, Mich. – “The Feelgood Tap,” a startup 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, looks to harness the power of a pint to raise and deploy financial resources to other nonprofits and charities statewide.

“The original idea behind The Feelgood Tap began in 2015 as an initiative to give back to the community we serve around Batch Brewing Company (Corktown neighborhood) in Detroit,” said Stephen Roginson, founder and head brewer, Batch Brewing Company, and executive director and founder, The Feelgood Tap.

“Each month, The Feelgood Tap features a special beer at Batch Brewing Company and a portion of the purchase price is donated to a designated charity of our choice,” he said. “We’ve donated to a number of small and large charities serving the Corktown Neighborhood and the greater Detroit area. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society Michigan Chapter was the very first Feelgood Tap partner.
