The Russian I Admire Most Right Now (4 Hands Bona Fide)

This Beer of the Week review was brought to you by the vice presidential debate on Tuesday. If there was going to be weeknight drinking, it was going to be that night.

On Tuesday evening, the only beers we had in the fridge were a couple different Oktoberfests, and while I love a good German-style fest bier, it just didn’t seem fitting for the debate.  I knew the only kind of fest I was about to watch was an insult-fest.  So I ventured around the corner to my local liquor store to pick an appropriate beverage for an evening of arguing with the TV.

I settled on 4 Hands’s Bone Fide, a Russian Imperial Stout (along with about $70 worth of other beers—Beer Scout jimmywags should never let me go to the beer store alone).
