Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s six breweries, one in Socorro, one in Los Alamos, and one in Moriarty also joining the party.

The average high in Albuquerque this time of year should be about 58 degrees, but the projected highs for the next week range from 68 to 75. That makes it a perfect time for Santa Fe Brewing to bring back its best warm-weather seasonal, Freestyle Pilsner. The release party is set for the taproom at Green Jeans Farmery this Saturday. It all kicks off at 2 p.m. and runs until 7. There will be happy hour prices all day, $1 off growler fills, and special raffles all day long. Seth Hoffman will provide some live music from 5 to 7 p.m. Of course, if it is still too soon for you to indulge in a pilsner and let go of the dark beers, La Cumbre is releasing
