Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s seven breweries, one in Los Alamos, one in Moriarty, one in Red River, and one in Truth or Consequences also joining the party. Stoutmeister puts on his serious face to handle The Week Ahead in Beer. Did we lose anyone last weekend? It was a wild one. No Crew members were overly harmed at the Slayer show, but yeah, we were all pretty sore and somewhat hard of hearing the next day (it was totally worth it). Anyway, nothing like that this weekend, since after all, Sunday is Mother’s Day. If you would like to celebrate with mom, or perhaps just any of the beer-loving women in your life, head to Marble 111 for the Women’s Fest, which runs from 2 to 8 p.m. There will women performers on stage, including musicians Kelsey Manning, Melissa Rios, and Stephanie Hatfield, plus local poets.
