Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s eight breweries, one in Los Alamos, one in Moriarty, one in Red River, one in Silver City, and one in Truth or Consequences also joining the party. The ongoing rollout of more and more seasonal brews in cans has our beer fridges overflowing at this point, but no one is really complaining. One of the many releases this week is Oktoberfest in cans for the first time over at Canteen Brewhouse. That is not the only news from Albuquerque’s oldest brewery, however, as the staff has come up with a unique way to keep an autumn tradition alive.
