There are quiet a few canned releases to close out this month, which is just fine since our beer fridges haven’t been overflowing at all lately. (Insert sarcastic and/or maniacal laughter here.) The hop-forward beers are surprisingly the dominant style being released in package this week, but in New Mexico, it’s always hoppy season. There are also a few new draft releases, and some fun events this weekend, including a brewery anniversary party. New Draft: Boese Brothers gives into the darkness, but threw in some hops in it with the new Black IPA. Brew Lab 101 channeled its ’80s music vibe with Jane’s Addiction Pomegranate Cider. Canteen tapped one of its big hits from WinterBrew, El Gato Gordo Breakfast Stout. Casa Vieja added a fresh batch of Vanilla Stout.
