The Week Ahead in Beer: The weather may not stick to one season but the brews sure will

Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s eight breweries, one in Los Alamos, one in Moriarty, one in Red River, one in Silver City, and one in Truth or Consequences also joining the party.

After last week’s blast of early wintry weather, we fully expected to settle into hoodie/black metal/dark beer season. Then it went and warmed up again. Fine, New Mexico, we get it — you don’t want to pick one season. You want all of them. In the same week. (Sigh) Anyway, at least the trend of big beers in cans and bottles continues to try to guide this wacky state towards the proper mindset.
