The beers made with a strong Citra hop presence are all the rage currently. Citra hops will commonly be found in pale ales and India pale ales. Craft beer fans in the Midwest will think Zombie Dust from 3 Floyds, pseudoSue from Toppling Goliath, Citra Ass Down by Against the Grain and now Hop Lab Blue from Bank Brewing. Citra hops are loved for their mixture of grapefruit and tropical fruit flavors. Critics with good palates go on and on about grapefruit, melon, floral, lime, gooseberry, passion fruit, lychee, peach, apricot pineapple, mango and papaya notes.
