One big beer year at Turtle Mountain will blend into another in 2018. Franz Solo here, recapping when I headed up the hill to Rio Rancho for Turtle Mountain’s entry in our Look Back/Look Ahead Series on an unsuspecting Wednesday, and was greeted with a splendid variety of seasonal beers ranging from the tartest pink cranberry sours to the maltiest of burly smooth barleywines. My first interview was with head brewer Mick Hahn. Solo: So, another year has passed and here we are looking back and looking ahead. You’ve been through a year, what have you learned?
