Boulevard Brewing’s first street festival, which wrapped up on Sunday, crowned the list of events comprising the inaugural Kansas City Craft Beer Week. Every announcement concerning Boulevardia built up immense anticipation for the three days of beer and music. Alas, we didn’t make to Boulevardia this weekend. We followed the stream of photos and posts on Facebook and Twitter, sometimes jealously and sometimes gratefully absent. Josh Thomas of KC Beer Klub did venture down to the West Bottoms on Saturday to visit Boulevardia. He graciously wrote up his take on the festival in our first guest post. Take it away, Josh!
