Today (Wednesday) is Veterans Day, which also means that it is the third anniversary week for Bombs Away Beer Company. This year, the brewery has acquired the special Veterans Blend from Yakima Chief Hops. Created by the military veterans working at YCH and veteran-owned breweries across the country, this special hop pellet is a literal blend of five different hops — Idaho 7, Sabro, Mosaic, HBC 630, HBC 692 — fused into a single package that was available for breweries and homebrewers as well (it has sold out, FYI).
