Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with the reunified edition of The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s four breweries and one newcomer down in Socorro also joining the party. We tried hard to keep the state edition going, but without participation from the breweries outside the I-25 corridor, it was futile. Stoutmeister puts on his serious face to handle The Week Ahead in Beer. The one drawback about doing TWAIB on Wednesday is that oftentimes cool things tend to happen on Tuesday. Rather than miss something this time around, there is something fun going down six days from now. La Cumbre is ramping up the creativity with their beer release parties by including a Beer’d (Beard) Competition to go with the debut of Tres Padres, a Belgian-style tripel.
