Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s eight breweries, one in Los Alamos, one in Moriarty, one in Red River, one in Silver City, and one in Truth or Consequences also joining the party. Back in 2019, when pandemics were only in movies, there was a lovely emerging synergy between local breweries and The Curse, the main supporters group for New Mexico United. Well, as some might have noticed, the relationship between The Curse and Starr Brothers ended last summer (let us not rehash the why), leaving many folks wondering where fans would gather to watch road games this season.
