Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. The issue of how to release a specialty/seasonal beer these days can be a bit vexing at certain breweries. While smaller places have no choice but to put it on tap for patio pints and growler/crowler fills, breweries with canning lines are left with the question of which is the better format. Red Door is currently debating this issue, with the new Tropical Synonyms DIPA ready for release as early as this Saturday. Or, the brewery could can it and release it in that format next week.
