The Sioux Falls Craft Beer Expo happened November 7th at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. This second year event is organized by Chop Liver Inc., a company run by Mark Opdahl and Juno Choi. It is a good chance to see friends, brewers, distributors and try beers from over 40 different breweries. This year over 160 different beers were available. New local breweries were in attendance including Fernson Brewing, WoodGrain Brewing, Bank Brewing, Gandy Dancer Brew Works, Take 16 and Hydra Brewing. Black Hills breweries in attendance included Crow Peak Brewing, Miner Brewing, The Knuckle Brewing and Sick N Twisted Brewery. Regional favorite, Surly Brewing, brought their Darkness and Todd the Axeman beers. Natedogs were available. These delicious hotdogs are produced in Minnesota. I only had three!
