If I had the chance to force people to drink only one beer for the rest of their lives… it’d be this beer. Everyone would love me for it and thank me and probably give me more awards than I can count; at least without taking off my shoes. This yummy creation by Cinder Block Brewery is a Russian Imperial Stout. (Of course it’s a stout, what else would I even write about???) Now, this next part is going to get really weird, but stay with me: It has a boozy, warm, soapy taste. Yes, soapy. What, Brie? You freaking weirdo. Did you eat weird shit as a kid, too? I mean, I did. But I don’t necessarily consider leaves and chapstick as “weird”. Who here hasn’t accidentally eaten some chapstick? Ya. Okay. Weirdos. Seriously. The soapy taste is actually a real thing and every brewer (well, most, hopefully) will stand by me with this.
