Beer jobs: Functions manager — Local Taphouse, St Kilda

The Local Taphouse is one of Melbourne’s leading craft beer venue combining award winning hospitality with outstanding food and entertainment.

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Functions & Events Manager to join our team.

Working closely with the Head Chef, General Manager and Owners, you will create and execute a range of events including degustation dinners, beer appreciation sessions general parties and festivals.

In this role your time will be spent maximising functions and ensuring they are well executed as well as executing various events and regular nights. You will also be responsible for growing and managing our customer database.

You will need an outgoing and friendly personality, have excellent time management skills and a dash of creative flair. We’re looking for the consummate professional — calm under pressure and efficient with a sense of fun and a penchant for fantastic service.
